Heart of Champs - Special Edition Screen Prints
After I painted the shutters for The Old Bank Vault gallery, we decided to work together along with The Private Press to create an exclusive print release. The piece is a two colour silk screen print, inspired by the shutter artwork which aimed to brighten up the street and spread some positivity. The release will mark the reopening of the gallery after lockdown.
We are also proud to be donating £30 from each print sold to The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) View Prints

Another Covid-19 Update
Just a quick message to keep you updated during these strange times. Firstly, I hope you are all healthy and well and finding positive ways to occupy your time inside. I will be keeping busy as I only know how, creating and scrawling my ideas in isolation (pretty much as I did before!) hopefully spreading some good vibes and brightening up some homes along the way
Key things:
- I will still be dispatching online orders but there may be longer delivery times due to postal delays. You will be able to track the progress of your orders as usual.
- All my galleries and exhibitions have been closed/ postponed for now, so I will be updating my website and Instagram regularly with new artworks available to purchase, so keep an eye out!
- If you have any queries or commission ideas feel free to drop me an email to hello@richardberner.com and I will get back to you shortly.

'As we leave 2019 behind us and celebrate the start of what will hopefully be another roaring 20s, we are hosting our final showcase of the year with the exciting and refreshing theme, ‘New Beginnings’.
The evening will be a unique opportunity to buy original artwork by a selection of our artists who have created these pieces exclusively for this private view at Enter Gallery.
From butterflies beginning their transformation to tiny shrubs curling towards the light, see how our artists interpret new beginnings in different ways! Featuring original artwork from our leading artists such as Richard Berner, Louise McNaught, Magnus Gjoen, Copyright, Dave Buonaguidi, Euan Roberts, Eelus, Mike Edwards, Maria Rivans and Sara Pope to name but a few!
With environmental protests dominating the news over the course of the year and a growing concern for our planet, we have been looking at the concept of sustainability at Enter Gallery. We are proud to sell a high quality, sustainable product which can be bought for life and passed down through generations whilst retaining its value rather than some products which soon outlive their usefulness and are then destined to landfill.
We are also looking to become a fully sustainable business in the very near future and 2020 will bring the implementation of changes for the better. Mixed Originals Show, Launch Night - Thursday 2nd May 6pm - 8pm
Looking forward to this one! The launch evening, on Thursday 2nd will unveil a collection of original pieces of artwork by a range of Enter Gallery's favourite artists. I will be showing alongside artists such as Magnus Gjoen, Dan Hillier, Bonnie & Clyde, Ryan Callahan, Sara Pope to name but a few.
The launch night is a precursor to the much anticipated Art Yard Sale that takes place at the end of the Fringe festival on Sunday 2nd June, Jubilee Square, Brighton. All the artists who attend the Art Yard Sale will be putting an original piece of artwork into the Mixed Originals Show at the gallery.

Studio 106 - Artists Open Studio

After living in Brighton & Hove for about 5 years I am excited to finally be showing at the Artists Open Houses festival! Every May artists around the city open their houses and studios to the public so you can meet the makers and buy their work.
Our shared Studio of 20 artists will open it's doors every Saturday & Sunday during the month, 11am - 5pm. You will be able to view our artwork, have a snoop around and see behind the scenes where the art is created!
Private View for the event is on Friday 3rd May 6pm - 9pm, everyone is welcome to join us in celebrating the launch. There will be drink available at the Studio and there have even been rumours of live music on the night! Hope to see you there :)

Looking forward to my next group show at The Old Bank Vault, London, running throughout February 2019. I will be showing a selection of 'Love' themed pieces including 3 small size originals created for the event.
There is a great line up of artists exhibiting icluding: Carla Borel, Simon Freeborough Anna Laurini, Jayson Lilley, Savannah McMillan, Michelle Mildenhall, Tannaz Oroumchi & Graham Thunder.
Late Night View is on Thursday 7th February 6pm - 10pm. There will be a DJ on the night plus Prosecco & strawberries to set the mood! Everyone is welcome to attend and meet some of the artists involved.

I am forward to the next group show organised by the great ArtisticUK. I will be showing alongside an amazing line up of other artists at the Crypt Gallery, London.
'Black' is a unique exhibition where artists are asked create a piece of work that is made purely with black! It's an exciting challenge which inspired me to question my usual techniques and methods in creating the artwork.
Private View is on Tuesday 18th December '18 from 6pm - 9pm. Everyone is welcome to come check it out!
The show is organised by ArtisticUK which is a non-profit mentoring programme for emerging artists, some of which have been diagnosed with Autism.

I'm looking forward to having a turn at Live Screen printing at Enter Gallery, Brighton on Saturday 8th December 2018 with the Private Press. We will be creating a Limited Edition, hand finished print which will be available at a special price during the day. It will also be my first ever screen print release which makes it extra exciting!

Don't miss out this September!
The Autumn Studio Clear Out is a great chance to own a unique piece of art at an affordable price. An eclectic collection of surreal paintings, illustrations and musings in a variety of media, including ink, gouache, watercolour and acrylics. New works will be added online over the month so keep an eye out!
The sale will last until the end of September 2018 before pieces return to the normal rates / head off to gallery.
